East (Greece ,Turkey the Balkan Peninsula)

Name a famous barbarian tribe and their leader?

The Huns, Attila the Hun

Why did Petrarch call the Middle Ages the "Dark Ages"?

Because it was a time of violence, poverty, and ignorance.

He loved the Romans and thought that it should have stayed that way.

The Vandals, because they were so evil and destroyed stuff
